Scholarships available to International
Students for 2012/13 year
Entrance Scholarships:
September Intake
- 2 scholarships in the amount of $3000 each paid in $500/semester.
Criteria:
- Enrolled in a 3-year program, financial need and an assay why Cambrian College is chosen to complete their studies.
- 2 scholarships in the amount of $2000 each paid in $500/semester.
Criteria:
- Enrolled in a 3 or 2-year program, financial need and an assay why Cambrian College is chosen to complete their studies.
- 3 scholarships in the amount of $1000 each paid in $500/semester.
Criteria:
- Enrolled in a 3, 2 or 1 year program (ESL eligible), financial need and an assay why Cambrian College is chosen to complete their studies.
January Intake
- 1 scholarship in the amount of $3000 each paid in $500/semester.
Criteria:
- Enrolled in a 3-year program, financial need and an assay why Cambrian College is chosen to complete their studies.
- 2 scholarship in the amount of $2000 each paid in $500/semester.
Criteria:
- Enrolled in a 3 or 2-year program, financial need and an assay why Cambrian College is chosen to complete their studies.
- 3 scholarships in the amount of $1000 each paid in $500/semester.

Academic and Community based Scholarships:
- 2 scholarships in the amount of $3000 each.
Criteria:
- 3rd year students who have shown an exceptional commitment to academics and volunteerism over the 3 years.
- 4 scholarships in the amount of $2000 each.
Criteria:
- 2nd year students who have shown an exceptional commitment to academics and volunteerism over the 2 years.
- 3rd year students who have shown a strong commitment to academics and volunteerism over the 3 years.
- 6 scholarships in the amount of $1000 each.
Criteria:
- 1st year students who have shown an exceptional commitment to academics and volunteerism in their first year
- 2nd year students who have shown a strong commitment to academics and volunteerism over the 2 years
- 3rd year students who have shown a commitment to academics and volunteerism over the 3 years
Above and Beyond Scholarships:
- 2 scholarships in the amount of $4000 paid in full.
Criteria:
- High academic standing (GPA of 3.5 or higher) and contribution to College life as well as demonstrated work in the community and/or abroad to promote Cambrian College and/or the Nominee’s program of study.
Emergency Bursaries:
- $2500 Hardship bursary (max. of $400/student)
