This is to inform you that the University of Birmingham has a course:-
MSc Clinical Oncology: – This innovative course is the only Masters course in Oncology in the UK offering a unique opportunity for the student to observe clinical practice and implementation of research in clinical/medical/ surgical oncology in UK hospitals.
The aim of the programme is to give you a scientific understanding of the causes of cancer and place this in a clinical context. The taught component will be delivered at the CRUK Centre at Birmingham which is an internationally-renowned centre for translational cancer research, combining high-quality basic science and trials infrastructure with the largest clinical referral base in Europe.
Entry Requirements :-
1) The student should have at least six months experience working in an oncology environment. This may include experience in medicine, pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry, nursing, radiography, clinical trials, scientific research, veterinary medicine, biostatistics and other related disciplines.
2) You will also need an undergraduate degree in a suitable subject. This could include, but is not restricted to, the following fields: bioscience, medicine, radiography, veterinary medicine.
3) IELTS – 7.0. bands overall with no less than 6.5 in any band.
